Why[edit | edit source]
Acts as a line of defense against viruses, malware, and other unwanted programs from running.
Windows Defender[edit | edit source]
Windows defender is the built in antivirus in windows.
GUI[edit | edit source]
- Navigate to "Firewall and network protection"\
- Turn all the firewalls on
- Navigate to "Virus & threat protection"
- Run a quick scan and make sure all the protection options are on.
CLI[edit | edit source]
This is another case where the CLI is not worth dealing with.
