Why

Acts as a line of defense against viruses, malware, and other unwanted programs from running.

Windows Defender

Windows defender is the built in antivirus in windows.

GUI

  1. Open "Windows Security"
  2. Navigate to "Firewall and network protection"\
  3. Turn all the firewalls on
  4. Navigate to "Virus & threat protection"
  5. Run a quick scan and make sure all the protection options are on.

CLI

This is another case where the CLI is not worth dealing with.
